Final Website
YAY finally finished!!!! Considering I had no idea what I was doing most of the time i think i did ok. So yea here is the link to my final website
Iv just been doing some final tweeking on my website and i decided to change the green on my background to a nice yellow orange colour. I think it really complements the rest of the design =-)
Blog Theme
Since i was kinda of getting fed up with working on my website i decided to start playing around with my blog theme, since I thought it would be a bit easier. I decided to just edit and change an existing theme since i would have no idea where to start if i did it from scrath. Its kinda comfusing trying to find the right place to put things in but i spose its easier than the website. So i guess is will just take a bit of time =-)

Figured it out…
I finally managed to figure out what was going wrong with the youtube videos and why they were all the wrong size even though it said they were all the same size, it was because there was a second image size at the end of the html for the video (who knows why) and they were all different. But i finally manage to fix that…
Youtube videos…. are lame!
So todays i put in all my youtube videos except they keep on being stupid and randomly decide to be different sizes even though it says their all the same size =-s and they wont stay in line, sometimes they will stay and sometimes they wont, It is very fustrating!!! If there was a logical reason for why they didnt work i wouldnt mind, but when they just decide to be difficult it annoys the hell outta me!!!!!! Just thought Id whine for a bit……..
Brief Update
I havnt really done anything noticably major since last time I have just added in my google map of the university and iv also managed to get my search bar working. My next task will be to put in the youtube vidios and I think ii might change the font and maybe the colour of the text as well…
Web Hosting
So i started to look at different web hosting site and it took me forever to find a free one that didnt put alot of spam and other junk on your site. But i finally decided to go with www.zymic.com even though you kind of end up going around in circles a bit trying to sign up for it which is kinda comfusing, it seems like a good site, like I said it doesnt put spam or anything on your site. Thats all for now! =-)
NAVIGATION BAR
Ok so for a while i was having some MAJOR issues with the navigation bar, because i was trying to make an image into a navigation bar and it just didnt seem to want to wor for me. But after a whole day of working on it I have FINALLY got it working!!! I figured it out through trial and error basically, i tried looking in the book for help but when i did what it said, it didnt work. The way I did it was by inserting the images that i wanted to use then I got the “hotspot” polygon tool and drew around each individual leaf to make it a link, then linked it to its proper page. Even though it sounds simple, it really wasnt…. Anyways that it for now!
I desided that the artist images were a bit boring so I decided to make them into rollover images.This is the image that shows up when you put the cursor over it. I jsut tweeked them in photoshop a bit and added some gradients and filters to change them a bit from the original. It isnt drastically different but it highlights which picture your on.
I also added links on all the pictures so that when you click on them it goes to the artists homepage. I think i might try to incorperate some youtube vidios in there as well, but thats another days work…
